What Are Immediate Dentures?
Immediate dentures are placed on the same day your natural teeth are removed, so you are not without teeth during the healing period.
Key Points
- They are made before your extractions, estimating variables using natural / remaining teeth and bite
- They may help protect your gums, assist with bleeding control after extractions, and allow you to begin adjusting to dentures early
- You leave your appointment with a full set of teeth, without a waiting period
